Abstract:Basic stages in research of quality of polyvinylchloride coating formation in tent material production are considered. Stability of technological process is determined. Functional dependence of one square meter mass on material thickness is revealed. Corrections aimed at increase in operativeness of measurement of material quality indicator, which is due to replacement of mass control of one square meter of tent material by thickness control are suggested.

Abstract: The principle of posistors work in the device for electro-heating of motor oil is given and mathematical model of non-stationary process of motor oil heating in KAMAZ engine oil sump is suggested. The problem of increasing efficiency of using posistors is theoretically grounded. Theoretical research of parameters of evice for electro-heating of motor oil with self-regulated power is conducted and rational quare of convective heat transfer of device surface is determined.

Abstract: It is considered the relationships for the Green-Lagrange strain tensor in curvilinear orthogonal coordinates exactly representing arbitrarily large rigid-body motions. This consideration is based on the kinematic Timoshenko hypothesis adopted for every layer of the shell (piece-wise linear approximation). As unknown functions 3(N + 1) displacements of the face surfaces of layers are chosen, where N is a number of layers. The deduced relationships may be used in the finite element method for constructing new and efficient elements for multilayered shells.

Abstract: The focusing action of mirrors is explained on the basis of diffraction theory. Dished and embossed mirrors are considered as limit case of phase sub-zone plates, working in wave reflection. The notion of focusing mirrors zoning is given. Theoretical conclusions are proved experimentally in centimeter range of electro-magnetic waves.

Abstract:The methodology of calculating vapor seal resistance of internal protective coating of external fence structures of phosphorus salt production workshops is developed on the basis of data about changes in thermo-physical characteristics of salt containing wall materials. The example of calculating the required vapor seal resistance of inner coating for external walls of three-natrium-phosphate workshop is given. Taking into account types of salt and the nature of their influence on external walls materials for protecting fences in terms of the given manufacturing process are selected.

Abstract:Distribution of reflected sound energy indoors depends on proportion of room size and sound absorption features of enclosure and tends to decrease when moving away from the sound source. There is some connection between sound strength flow and density gradient of reflected energy in the form of transfer coefficient, describing physical indoor characteristics from the point of forming reflected sound field. On this basis calculation model for density distribution of reflected sound energy indoors is developed. The model is implemented by analogue, analytical and numerical methods.

The results of preparing students of specialties 170500 “Machines and Apparatuses of Chemical Engineering” and 170600 “Machines and Apparatuses of Food Engineering” using the methodology developed by the authors are given.
