Abstract: The paper proposes a procedure for transferring expert knowledge into the knowledge base of computer expert system. The concepts of expertise of objects and their categories are introduced. The algorithms for constructing accessory functions for different categories of objects are suggested. The connection between accessory function and penalty function for risk factors during the examination of industrial enterprises is substantiated. The examples of the Guide of Dow Chemical, confirming the efficiency of the procedure are given.

Abstract: The paper presents theoretical and experimental study of the effect of viscosity on the time of bubble formation in the measuring tube after its rotation by 180°. Express method of measuring viscosity of liquids at the time of gas bubbles formation in the measuring tube is considered. The paper proposes the device that implements the developed bubble express method. The accuracy of the proposed device is estimated.

Abstract: The paper presents the solution to the problem of determining the axes orientation of the three gyroscopes in the block by minimizing the quadratic criterion of quality of transient processes under nonlinear restrictions imposed by the orthogonality conditions for matrices elements of the direction cosines of gyroscope axes. By mathematical modeling the algorithmic compensation of methodic errors of gyroscopes is verified.

Abstract: The paper presents the developed data-measuring system for determining the concentration by resonant frequency vibrations of hydrated ions in the outer plate of the electric double layer on the basis of the values of the normalized properties of electrolyte solutions using mathematical models for consistent equivalent circuit of a double electric layer and the experimental values of reactive component of the impedance of the conductivity cell under various frequencies of AC voltage.

Abstract: the mathematical model of heat transfer in a system of two bodies is presented. The boundary problem of heat conduction in the dimensional and dimensionless representations is formulated. The distributions of temperature along the length of the limited and semi-limited bodies, as well as temperature values at the interface of two bodies at any moment time are produced.

Geometry, Circulation and Heat and Mass Transfer in Evaporation of Drop on the Substrate

Abstract: The paper presents the dependences for the calculation of the drop profile (layer) of liquid lying on solid horizontal substrate for the cases of wetting and non-wetting of the substrate surface. The formula for calculating the volume and area of the outer surface of the drop are obtained. The calculated and experimental profiles for drops of the liquid after alcohol stillage and water, lying on a fluoroplastic disk are given. The necessity of taking into account the exact profile of the drop to calculate the heat and mass transfer is shown. The results of investigations of internal circulation in drops are given; the concerns about the impact of the flows inside the drop on the drying process, the external heat and mass transfer and heat transfer to the substrate are expressed.

Abstract: The paper presents the method of reducing pulsations of mixture concentration of granular materials during its continuous preparation under portionwise microdispensing of one of the components by influencing the segregated flows of particles in the working volume of the mixer. The results of a comprehensive study of the characteristics of the structure of segregated flows and the effectiveness of the proposed method for its implementation in a drum machine with lift blades are presented.

Abstract: The theoretical and experimental investigation of the process of extracting biologically active compounds – polysaccharides from root-crops of skorzonera – under the influence of electrical discharge allowed to establish the parameters of the process, ensuring the optimum yield of the desired component. The comparative analysis of methods of extraction showed that the relative yield of polysaccharides increases by 1,32 times compared with the traditional infusion. The dependence of the coefficient of mass transfer Kxv on the concentration of extractable substance in the liquid phase is determined. These results can be used in engineering calculations, the processing of organic raw materials under the influence of electric discharges.

Abstract: The paper presents the analysis of the concept of the hydrogen bond lifetime in computer simulations. It is shown that different definitions of the hydrogen bond lifetime characterize certain stages in micro-dynamic behavior of liquid. Lifetimes and “unlife” of hydrogen bond in the water using model potentials TIP4P and TIP4P-HB are calculated; their comparison revealed several features of the structural rearrangement mechanism in the immediate environment.

Abstract: A common way of manufacturing rubber products is the vulcanization in the molds in hydraulic presses with the induction method of heating plates. The article discusses the features of the mathematical simulation of heating the rubber gasket in the mold on the vulcanizing presses with the using the system COMSOL. Based on the analysis of temperature fields of “the slab–mold–product” system the principles of designing methods of heating plates for specific products are formulated.

Abstract: The paper proposes the technique for the construction of approximations to the periodical solutions of one class of non-autonomous systems of common differential equations. It is based on the scheme of successive approximations with the use of symbolic calculations in a distributed computing environment to obtain the solution in an analytic form. The fitting of the scheme of successive approximations in the period is shown and also the example of the second grade system with the described calculation scheme is considered. The results of computational experiment are presented.

Abstract: This paper considers the method of investigation of energy conditions in solids by using a semiconductor with a known distribution of energy levels, separated by a thin dielectric layer from the examined material. The theoretical basis for simulation of resonance by energy levels is described; it enables to detect and identify various impurities, including nano-objects in solid materials.

Abstract: The cooling process of the polymer on the tube is accompanied by a substantial shrinkage of the surface layers, while the inner layers remain in the viscous-fluid state. Shrinkage of the coating can cause stress, exceeding the tensile strength, and cracking on the surface. The paper analyzes the change of stresses in the polymer coating during the cooling process.

Abstract: The paper reveals the need for the application of mathematical planning of the experiment at the deposition of the pyrolysis chrome coatings on the contact assemblies of the electric plants. It is caused by the influence of a great number of simultaneous factors, which determine the process of the coating formation, and the set of the output parameters, which call for the conditions of the exploitation of the electro-technical equipment.
