Integrated synthesis of energy and resource saving CTS in conformity with the strategy of top-down programming involves solving of the following problems: at the first stage alternative options of CTS are generated, these meeting the requirements of flexibility; at the second stage alternative options of the system of automated control over CTS modes are synthesized and the best option of the control system is selected (unless the desired quality of control over the modes within the system of automated control is reached, one of the following decisions is made: a) selecting a new more complex class of systems of automated control; b) correcting dynamic characteristics of CTS; c) transfer to a new type of hardware for CTS); at the third stage construction and mode (control) variables of alternative complexes “CTS – system of automated control” by vector criterion of energy and resource saving is optimized, alternatives are compared in pairs in order to select the best CTS. Integrated designing of flexible continuous process of azopigments synthesis and the system of automated stabilization of its modes under interval uncertainty of kinetic coefficients of chemical reactions and separate technological variables is illustrated.

Abstract: The paper deals with optimization of drying time and energy consumption in foam-mat drying of liquid bio-materials. A clarified apple juice mixed with methylcellulose in mass concentrations 0,5; 1,0; 2,0 and 3,0 % was whipped in a blender to generate foams of different density varying from 0,21 to 0,45 g/cm3. The foam samples in layers of 6, 12 and 26 mm thick were then dried in a drying tunnel using air at 55 °C flowing past the sample surface at a superficial velocity of 0,7 m/s. Experimental data were interpreted in terms of drying kinetics and energy performance. It was found that the drying rate of foamed juice depends on foam density and its characteristics, as well as on the layer thickness. Shorter drying times were obtained for thinner layers of foams of the same density. A distinct minimum of a drying time was obtained for foam density of 0,21 g/cm3 induced with 1 % methylcellulose. This foam exhibited the highest drying efficiency and the lowest energy consumption.

The methodology and software for integrated designing of technological processes and systems of control as single automated complex are created; the algorithms and programs for simulated modeling of these complexes “technological object – CAD” are designed. The paper works out the theoretical basis for determining the amount of segregation and migration flows under shift deformation and quick shift flow of disconnected spherical particles. Thus, to forecast the dynamics of concentration fields of heterogeneous particles of conditionally binary mixture it is necessary to have information about conventional physic-mechanical properties of particles and grain materials and determine the only experimental kinetic characteristic (segregation coefficient) for the given pair of mixture components. The value of segregation and migration flows is determined on the basis of the particles size, structural and kinematic parameters of the flow (shift velocity and porosity). Department of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, TSTU

Key words and phrases: assumed natural strain method; four-node solid-plate element; hybrid finite element models.
Abstract: On the basis of the first-order solid-plate theory, proposed in earlier authors’ papers, the hybrid stress, strain and stress-strain quadrilateral ANS four-node plate elements are developed. All hybrid solid-plate elements are based on the unified technique that gives an opportunity to assess their advantages and disadvantages. For instance, a hybrid stress-strain quadrilateral ANS element permits the analytical integration, which leads to a very simple structure of its stiffness matrix. At the same time the hybrid stress ANS quadrilateral exhibits a superior performance in all plate problems considered but requires a numerical large size matrix inversion.
